Prophetic Finders ("we," "us," "our") is a Texas nonprofit ministry. We are committed to protecting your privacy and the privacy of the individuals and families who entrust us with sensitive information. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Account information: When you create a member account, we collect your name, email address, and a hashed (encrypted) password. We do not store your card number — payment is processed entirely by Stripe.
Case submissions: When you submit a missing person or lost item case, we collect the information you provide — name of missing person, description, location details, and contact information. This information is treated as highly sensitive.
Contact form submissions: Name, email, subject, and message content.
Donation information: If you donate, Stripe collects your payment information. We may receive your name and email if you choose to provide them, and the donation amount.
Technical information: Standard server logs, including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited. We use this for security and diagnostics only.

Information submitted through our case intake form is treated with the highest level of confidentiality. It is shared only with authorized Prophetic Finders team members who have agreed to our confidentiality protocols. We may share relevant prophetic intelligence with law enforcement, but we do so carefully and only in ways that protect the integrity of any investigation and the safety of all parties.
Prophetic Finders is a mandatory reporter under Texas law for suspected child abuse or neglect (Tex. Fam. Code § 261.101). If case information discloses suspected abuse, we are required by law to report it to the appropriate authorities.

We implement reasonable technical safeguards to protect your data: HTTPS encryption on all pages, hashed password storage (bcrypt), CSRF protection on all forms, session security, and rate limiting on login attempts. No data transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.
We retain account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to operate the ministry. Case submission records are retained for operational and legal purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us at propheticfinders@gmail.com. Case records may be retained even if an account is deleted, as they may be relevant to ongoing matters.
Our website and membership is intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please contact us immediately.
